Although such information is not collected to be associated with identified subjects, due to their very nature, they could lead to the identification of the User through the various processing and associations.
This category includes the IP addresses of the computers used by the Users who
connect to the Site, the URL of the requested resources, the time of the request, the size of the file obtained in response, and also the session cookies, which are small text files containing a string of alphanumeric characters that allow to uniquely identify your browser and that will disappear after the same is closed.
These data are used only to obtain anonymous statistical information about the use of the Site (such as the number of accesses in particular) and to check its correct functioning; they are deleted immediately after processing.
This process does not involve the handling of any information that may lead to a direct identification.
Use of Cookies
A cookie is a text file sent by a website to the browser of the computer of the User. The browser saves the information and retransmits it to the Site server when the browser accesses that web site again.
In general, a cookie contains the Internet domain name (the website’s IP address) where the cookie comes from, the “duration” of the cookie (i.e. the indication of the time when it expires), and a numerical code, usually a unique, randomly generated number.
The cookies used in the Site have mere technical purposes and will never be used to examine and study the behaviour of the User within the site.
There are two types of cookies used by the Site:
Session Cookies, i.e. temporary cookies that remain inside the folder of the User’s browser cookies up to the end of the browsing session.
Persistent Cookies, i.e. cookies that remain inside the folder of the User’s browser cookies for longer (depending on the duration of each cookie).
How we use cookies and collect information

The use of the so called “session cookies” (which are not stored permanently on the User’s computer and are deleted when the browser is closed) is strictly restricted to transmitting the session identifiers (random numbers generated by the server) needed to consent the secure and efficient exploration of the Site. In particular, we use session cookies for the following purposes:
– to enable the user to transport information through the pages of the Site and avoid multiple inputs.
– to draft anonymous statistics that makes us understand how Users utilize the Site and to improve its structure.
The session cookies used in this Site prevent to resort to other techniques potentially prejudicial for the confidentiality of users’ browsing and do not allow
acquisition of personal identification data.
The use of persistent cookies is aimed solely at the provision of specific services requested by the user. In particular, we use the persistent cookies to keep in the shopping cart the items selected by the user and not yet purchased.
Registration Procedures
The Queriot site automatically stores the visitors’ IP addresses (Internet Protocol). The IP address is a unique number assigned to each computer on the Internet. Generally, an IP address changes each time you connect to the Internet (it is a “dynamic” address). Please note, however, that in case you have a broadband connection, depending on your individual circumstances, the IP address we collect might contain information that may be deemed identifiable. This is because your IP address does not change (it is “static”) with some broadband connections, and might be associated to Your personal computer.
Apart from recording the users’ IP, Queriot can also keep track of the sites visited by the users immediately prior to visiting the Queriot web site and the search terms used to find it. We keep track of the pages visited on the Queriot website, the amount of time spent on those pages and the types of searches carried out with us. However, your searches remain confidential and anonymous. Queriot uses this information only for statistical purposes to find out which pages users find most useful and to improve the web site through the tools provided by Google.
